Getting there

Airport

For those of you flying in, the closest major airport to the wedding is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

Rental Car

Depending on the neighborhood you stay in (see our Seattle Guide) and the activities you’re interested in, you may want to rent a car.

There is a large rental car facility at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport with all of the major brands. A free shuttle runs 24/7 between the airport and the rental car deck. You can board the shuttle just outside of baggage claim at the north and south ends of the terminal.

Rideshare

If you are taking a rideshare (Uber, Lyft) from the airport, go to the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Supposedly if you use Uber black, you can be picked up directly outside of baggage claim.

Light Rail

If you are planning to stay Downtown, Capitol Hill, Bellevue, or Redmond you can take the Link Light Rail from the airport. Be sure to look at the Link Light Rail map to plan your route. If you’re taking the rail to Bellevue or Redmond you’ll float over Lake Washington—the world’s only floating light rail!
